Transfer business is gaining momentum both in the Premier Soccer League and abroad, with several moves already drawing strong interest from South African fans. Clubs are actively reshaping their squads, and more deals are expected to be completed in the coming days.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that midfielder Marshall Munetsi has been sent on loan to French Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC for the remainder of the season.
The Zimbabwean international returns to familiar territory, having previously played for Stade Reims before joining Wolves midway through the 2024/25 campaign.
According to Wolves, the 29‑year‑old has made 15 appearances this season, finding the net in the Premier League against Burnley and contributing another goal in the Carabao Cup win over Everton at Molineux.
However, only two of those appearances came under current manager Rob Edwards, with Munetsi sidelined for the past six weeks due to a calf injury — a setback that also ruled him out of captaining Zimbabwe at the Africa Cup of Nations.
With his recovery nearly complete, Wolves have opted to send him to Paris FC to regain fitness and playing time.
Munetsi joined Wolves a year ago from Reims, where he amassed nearly 150 appearances and scored 21 goals in the French top flight. In his debut season in England, he scored twice in 16 matches and played a key role in helping the club secure an eighth consecutive year in the Premier League.
Wolves concluded their announcement by wishing Munetsi success during his loan spell in France.
